The iPad could make a sweet audio editing device.

I for one like the iPad. I love the simple design and potable power it has. I use Reason on my Mac to create drum and synth patterns for most of my music. I think Reason would work well on the iPad, because Reason's interface is already meant to look and feel like a live audio rack. Turning nobs with touch technology would feel incredibly cool. I would definitely get it if I had an iPad. Pretty slick. Here is the official Reason site: http://www.propellerheads.se/products/reason/ http://amplify.com/u/3cxx

True story of a studio attempting to do wrong to an artist, and how that artist protected himself from it.

Very good read. It helps to remind you of your rights as a freelancer. Always make sure you get signed agreements in writing. I do, but there are times when the project is so fast, that I don't. That can certainly get you into trouble. Sites like Elance http://elance.com have protection in place to save both artists and project managers from these issues, but I bet there are cases where either or party has wronged the other. http://amplify.com/u/2a4a
